Mother India Foundation - a registered
non-profit organization - is founded on the premise that the Indian traditions,
ethos, perspectives and knowledge are of great value, not only to India
but also to all of humanity. It seeks to bring this knowledge and these
perspectives to light through a variety of mediums and distribution channels.
India is in the process of finding its own place and voice in the world
today. Yet, the building blocks in our present setup, including much of
the education system, remain inherited from colonial times. We have thus
learnt to look at ourselves as the outsiders looked at us. The effects of
this also get reflected in the broader print and audio-visual medium.
Our Mission
To communicate Indian knowledge, traditions, ethos and perspectives for
relevance in contemporary times.
